Sexual Exclusivity / Autonomy
Sexual autonomy is the need for individuals to have control over their own sexual choices, desires, and boundaries without coercion or pressure from others. In ethical non-monogamy, sexual autonomy means each partner has the freedom to pursue sexual relationships with others, while respecting the agreed-upon boundaries and practicing open, honest communication with all involved.
Example: "In my relationships, I need the freedom to explore my sexual autonomy and set my own boundaries while respecting those of my partners."
